Ballistic ATV rider ~ Wesley Sham is the 2008 National 450cc High School Class champion
27 September 2008, Cape Town Zone 7 MX track
This was by no means an easy race. Wesley was lying second in the first heat. He was catching up to the leader when he 'cased' the big table top. The entire rear linkage tore out of the frame. the shock broke and the exhaust was left hanging on a thread!
We where feeling really down as this meant Wesley had to win the second heat to become SA National champion. We had a spare bike, Stephanie's. He had never riden this bike so we were not feeling very possitive.
BUT........Wesley went out in the second heat and SMOKED his competition!
With this win he became SA National champion in the 450cc High School Class!
Well done my boy!!!
